Percussion pistol, pocket. Cal. 56 bore (.437 in). Made in Belgium after 1849.
Typical of the cheaply made and inexpensive pistols carried by miners on the Victorian goldfields.
Physical Description
Screwed barrel, rifled twist steel. box lock, hammer set to right of centre, folding trigger. Steel recess with cover in wooden stock, silver monogram plate.
