This wax model was based on a specimen grown and presented to the museum by Charles Draper of Hazelglen, 1875. The model was made in the museum by Thomas McMillan.
This apple is a dessert variety and is harvested in summer. This variety is not in Ikin's Listing of Fruits (1974).
