Summary
This wax model was based on a specimen grown and presented to the museum by Charles Draper of Hazelglen in 1875. The model was made in the museum by Thomas McMillan for the Philadelphia Centennial Exhibition of 1876.
Synonym: Herefordshire Pearmain. This apple is a dessert or cooking variety and is harvested in autumn-winter.
