Percussion pistol, belt. cal. 16 bore (.650 in.). Muzzle loading, smooth bore, round twist steel barrel 9 in. (228 mm) long, flat along the line of sight, nickel silver bead foresight, overall length 15 1/4 in. (338 mm).

Physical Description
Side lock (back action) & hammer, oval steel trigger guard. Wooden stock extends almost to muzzle, chequered grip terminated on a spreading oval butt, silver monogram plate, swivel ramrod, belt hook fitted to left hand side of stock. Stock broken at breech of pistol.
