Percussion pistol, cal. 16 bore (.660 in.). Muzzle loading, smooth bore, round twist steel barrel 7 1/2 in. (191 mm) long, flat on top & octagonal for 2 in. (51 mm), overall length 12 5/8 in. (321 mm).

Physical Description
V notch back sight, nickel silver bead foresight, side lock & hammer, with safety bolt, platinum vent plug under nipple, oval steel trigger guard. Wooden stock with horn tip extends almost to muzzle, chequered grip, oval silver monogram plate inscribed with a dolphin naiant embowed, swivel ramrod.
