Percussion pistol, cal. 37 bore (.500). Muzzle loading, smooth bore, octagonal twist steel barrel 4 1/4 in. (108 mm.) long, bead foresight, overall length 9 1/4 in. (235 mm).

Physical Description
Side lock (back action) & hammer with sliding safety bolt, pierced platinum vent plug under nipple, oval steel trigger guard with pineapple extension. Wooden stock almost to muzzle, chequered grip, silver monogram plate. Swivel ramrod.
