Summary
Flintlock sporting musket, musketoon, military style in cal. 14 bore (.700), steel smooth bore round barrel, 75.40cm long.
Made in Belgium. Possibly a German service musketoon.
Physical Description
Steel side lock and ring-necked hammer on R.H. side, brass pan, oval brass triggerguard with plain extensions, steel triggerguard plate and plain sideplate. Bladed front sight, rear sight missing from tang, barrel secured by barrel pins and two brass bands, steel ramrod. Wooden stock extends to approximately 20.50cm from muzzle.
