Exhibited at the Great Exhibition of the Works of Industry of All Nations, London, in 1851.
Physical Description
With brass tampions, rifled barrel has fixed rear sight with one leaf. Overall length 37 1/2 in. (953 mm). Barrel screws on and action is pulled forward. All metal construction with crutched stock of knotty wood. Stamped on action "Patent. I. Lang. 7 Haymarket, London, no. 396.".
