Pair of cased percussion pistols, pocket. Cal. 11 mm. No maker's marks, 19th century.
Physical Description
Screw off, rifled (16 grooves), damascus twist barrel 58 mm. long, overall length 164 mm. Box lock with hammer off centre to the right & folding trigger. Wooden stock carved with leaf pattern & blackened, ornamental steel butt cap. Barrel browned, lock box of bright steel engraved with foliate scrolls. Wooden case covered with imitation leather is fitted & lined with maroon baize. Accessories in case. Include, embossed powder flask, bullet mould, screw driver, nipple wrench, cleaning rod & small wire brush.
