Summary
Percussion pocket pistol, cal. 12 mm. Fitted with spring bayonet. Screw off smooth bore fancy octagonal barrel 3 3/8 in. (86 mm) long.
Made in Belgium, circa 1850.
Physical Description
Spring bayonet 2 1/2 in. (64 mm) long fitted under the barrel is released by sliding back the trigger guard. Box lock with centre hammer, oval steel trigger guard. Figured walnut rounded stock & butt, shield shaped silver monogram plate. mounts engraved with foliate scrolls.
