Physical Description

Six chambered cylinder, nipples at right angles to chamber, steel frame has shield to protect nipples, oval steel trigger guard, bar hammer offset to the right to allow sighting along barrel, v notch backsight, blade foresight. Chequered wooden grip, silver monogram plate, steel butt cap with cap recess. Barrel, cylinder & frame blued, mounts engraved with scrolls. Rifled (eighteen grooves), octagonal barrel 4 9/16 inches (116 mm) long, key fastened to cylinder pin by a flat key secured by a screw & supported by a bottom strap.
