Percussion service pistol (converted from flintlock), cal. 15 mm. Muzzle loading, smooth bore barrel 130 mm. long, overall length 247 mm.
Made by Manufacture Maubeuge, one of the French government arsenals, circa 1800.
Physical Description
Side lock & hammer, oval trigger guard. Wooden stock ends flush with muzzle under a steel cap with a double band over the barrel & also carries the steel ramrod, steel butt cap with short extension.
