Single barrelled shotgun, 18 gauge .632. twist steel barrel 29 in. (737 mm) long. Percussion caplock.
Made by Joseph Egg, London, circa 1830.
Physical Description
Breech section semi octagonal, platinum vent plug under nipple, rib under barrel with two pipes, tail pipe missing, brass tipped wooden ramrod. Walnut half stock with horn tip, chequered at grip, silver monogram plate, mounts finely engraved, brass pin foresight.
