Mantel clock and music box, made by M. Miller & Sohn, Vienna, circa 1820.

Physical Description

Clock is set on a gilt rectangular base similar to a sarcophagus with an opening to show the pendulum. There is a classical urn above the clock and two cherubs on left, and a winged and bearded figure to the right. Base has holes for music box controls. Card of music box is attached to the door. Weight driven; anchor and pendulum escapement.
