Olivetti model ET351 electronic typewriter and word processing computer. Made by Olivetti in Italy about 1980.

Comprises "QWERTY" keyboard, green dot-matrix single-line annunciator just above keyboard, two 5 1/4inch floppy disc drives, impact printer and specialised word processing function keys. Cased in black plastic. Two boxes of spare printer ribbons, and handwritten instructions for use. Serial number 1029454. Loose black cover for system.

Each floppy disk could hold about 64 thousand 8 bit words (about 30 A4-size typed pages).

List of parts: "QWERTY" keyboard, green dot-matrix single-line annunciator just above keyboard, Opening at top for paper handling, and knob on left side for platter rotation. Two 5 1/4inch floppy disc drives, impact printer and specialised word processing function keys. Disks are inserted in a vertical orientation. Power cable emerges from rear panel, and terminated in Australian 3-pin plug. Two boxes of spare printer ribbons, and handwritten instructions for use. Loose black cover for system. 1st Box of ribbons: Large box containing box with 5 spools of correction ribbon, and two cartridges holding printer ribbon. Each cartridge is black plastic with two arms having ribbon stretched beteeen them. Orange thumbwheel on side to winding ribbon. Correction ribbon is housed in two red open spools, held in a white plastic tray. Large box has black wrting on a white background, with the Olivetti logo on two sides. 2nd Box of ribbons: Large box containing three cartridges holding printer ribbon. Each cartridge is black plastic with two arms having ribbon stretched beteeen them. Orange thumbwheel on side to winding ribbon. Large box has black writing on a white background, with the Olivetti logo on two sides.
