Made by Colt's Patent Fire Arms Manufacturing Co, Hartford, Connecticut. Serial number 37032, 1883.
Physical Description
Strong original blueing on barrel with minor corrosion on left hand side at muzzle. Six chambered long fluted cylinder, locking notches on rear cylinder face rather than outer surface, solid steel frame, steel rounded trigger guard with good original blueing, steel back strap, black two-piece finely chequered hard-rubber grips with rampant Colt logo in oval embossed on both sides. Blade front sight, loading gate on R.H. side. Light corrosion on hammer. Three-line Colt address stamped on barrel. British proofmarks stamped on cylinder and under barrel at cylinder end. Blued finished appears original and is in excellent condition.
