Two examples of stump jump disc units mounted on a wooden base. Model comprises of:
1. Draught restored stump jump disc unit as fitted to the Braybrook Implement Co. Plough, made from 1899. The design was probably patented by Daniel Crosby of Kadina, S. A. (v15520 8:9:1898).
2. Spring restored stump jump disc unit as fitted to the plough produced by the firm of W. C. Peacock & Bros. The design was first patented by C. A. Peacock in 1899 (v16253). Usually known in Australia as the Peacock plough. The first successful stump jump disc plough to be used in Australia.
