Summary
Horse brass: Wheatsheaf in a basket. Crescent border. Type: cast brass. Date: 1825-1939.
"Wheat symbolises the gift of life, the basic primordial food-stuff which cannot be anything other than the gift of the gods."  It represents the eternal cycle of the seasons, and the return of harvest time. (See: 'Penguin Dictionary of Symbols').

Item has the remains of two studs on back, possibly from the casting process.
