Summary
Horse brass: Royal Exchange London. Type: cast brass. The London Exchange was burnt down in 1838. Date: 1825-1838.
This brass has also been identified as the oldest sun temple, the Albert Hall, London, the Tower of Babel, the Great Exhibition, Hyde Park, the Crystal Palace, or the Colosseum. Physical Description
Item had the remains of two studs on back, possibly from the casting process.

The London Exchange was burnt down in 1838. Cast horse brass were first made in 1825, and with the introduction of petrol engines/vehicles, the production of horse brass ceased in the 1930s. -
