Summary
Horse brass depicting a plough. The border has a crenate edge on the inward side and a plain outside edge. Type: cast brass. Comments: item has remains of two studs on back, possibly from the casting process. Plough Monday is observed in some districts. The plough is decorated and taken around the area and those who do not contribute have their thresholds ploughed up. Date: 1824-1939.
