Made by Colt's Patent Fire Arms Manufacturing Co, Hartford, Connecticut. Serial number 37840, 1869.

Physical Description

Five chambered fluted cylinder, small rounded brass trigger guard with light remnants of silver plating, steel frame, brass back strap, wooden grips, pin style front sight. Knurling on hammer is of typical London style framed in an inverted U. Barrel address is one-line New York address. Inspector's intial 'N' stamped onto triggerguard L.H. side'. Some remnants of original blueing across barrel and frame and all steel components in an even brown patina. Wooden grips in clean condition.
