This wax model is based on a specimen grown and presented to the museum by the Horticultural Society of Victoria from their gardens at Burnley, 1878. The model was made in the museum by Thomas McMillan, 1878.
This apple is a dessert variety and is harvested in winter.
Physical Description
Wax model of an apple with short brown stem, painted a dark red. The apple has green and brown marks on the top around the stem.
