Summary
This wax model is based on a specimen grown and presented to the museum by the Horticultural Society of Victoria from their Garden at Burnley, 1884. The model was made in the museum. The model maker was not recorded.
Synonyms: Dixie, Horse Bud, Neverfail, Waddell Hall, Sweet Romanite. This apple is a dessert variety and is harvested in late winter. This variety is not in Ikin's Listing of Fruits, 1974 edition.

Wax model of a small apple with short stem (stem wax has gone, leaving only bare wire), painted red with yellow stripes, small brown mark on side.
