Summary
This wax model was based on a specimen grown and presented to the museum by the Horticultural Society of Victoria from their gardens at Burnley, 1880. The model was made in the museum. The model maker was not recorded.
Synonyms: Quince, Winter Queen, Kirke's Lemon Pippin.This apple is a cooking and dessert variety and is harvested in winter. This variety is not in Ikin's Listing of Fruits, 1974 edition.
