This wax model is based on a specimen grown and presented to the museum by the Horticultural Society of Victoria from their gardens at Burnley, 1884. The model was made in the museum. The model maker was not recorded.
Synonym: New Scarlet Nonpareil. This apple is a dessert variety and is harvested in late winter.
