Summary

This wax model is based on a specimen grown and presented to the museum by the Horticultural Society of Victoria from their gardens at Burnley, 1879. The model was made in the museum. The model maker was not recorded.

This variety was first raised at Ecklinville near Belfast by a scotch gardener named Logan in about 1820. This variety is not in Ikin's Listing of Fruits, 1974 edition.


Synonym: Ecklinville. This apple is a cooking variety and is harvested in summer.
