Item ST 35931 Electronic Valve - Philips, Triode - Hexode, Type ECH33, circa 1950

Summary

Triode-hexode used as a frequency changer in superheterodyne radio receivers. Used in the post-World War Two (1939-1945) years up to about 1952.
6.3 V indirectly heated cathode.
This was the octal based version of the side contact type ECH3. It was equivalent to the ECH35 except for its heater current rating (200mA versus 300mA for the ECH35)
