Laille, Arras, Abbey of the Mount St Elos, La Targette (région d'Arras), Carency (région d'Arras), Neuville-Saint-Waast (région d'Arras), Vermelles (P-de C), Ablain-Saint-Nazaire (Pas-de-Caslais), Neuve-Chapelle, près Bethune (P-de-C), Albert, 'Negro's village' (Somme), Chapel of Cessier, Church of Popincourt Zuydcoote, near Furnes, and Bergues Dunkerque (Nord).

Some of the photographs appear to have been taken by official war photographers with the French forces.

Physical Description

Twenty-page booklet of detachable black and white postcards, landscape format, each interleaved with tissue paper. The cover has red, gold and purple lettering written horizontally and with a cream background. The back is plain cream. Postcards: All the postcards have: 'Guerre 1914-1916 .' then a French caption and then the English caption followed by L.L. (presumably the photography firm that produced the booklet)

Significance
