Summary
This wax model was based on a specimen grown by the Horticultural Society of Victoria at their Burnley Gardens and model presented by the National Agricultural Society in 1874 after the specimen was exhibited at the National Agricultural Society's Show, 3-5 April 1873. The model was made in the museum by Thomas McMillan in 1873 for the National Agricultural Society.
This apple is a cooking variety and is harvested in winter. This variety is not in Ikin's Listing of Fruits, 1974 edition.
