Summary
This wax model is based on a specimen grown by the Horticultural Society of Victoria at their Burnley gardens and the model was presented to the museum by the National Agricultural Society after the specimen was exhibited at the National Agricultural Society's Show, 3-5 April 1873. The model was made in the museum by Thomas McMillan for the National Agricultural Society in 1873. See also Reg Items 013540 & 013541.
Synonyms: Beaufin, Norfolk Beaufin, Reed's Baker, Taliesin, Cathead's Beaufin. This apple is a cooking variety and is harvested in winter.
