Summary
This wax model was based on a specimen grown and exhibited by Horticultural Society of Victoria at the National Agricultural Society's show 3-5 April 1873. The model was presented to the museum by the National Agricultural Society. The model maker was not recorded.
Synonym: Ribston Pearmain. This apple is a dessert variety and is harvested in autumn. This variety was found by John Braddick in a hedge near his residence at Claygate, a hamlet in the parish of Thames Ditton. This variety is not in Ikin's Listing of Fruits, 1974 edition.
