Summary
This wax model is based on a specimen grown by the Horticultural Society of Victoria at their Burnley Gardens and the model was presented to the museum by the National Agricultural Society in 1874 after the National Agricultural Society Show, 3-5 April 1873. The model maker was not recorded.
This apple is a cooking variety and is harvested in winter. This Victorian seedling was raised by John Carson, J. P., of 'Clutha', Studley Park, Kew.
