Summary

This wax model was based on a specimen grown by the Horticultural Society of Victoria at their Burnley Gardens and model presented to the museum by the National Agricultural Society in 1874 after the National Agricultural Society Show, 3-5 April 1873. Model made in duplicate for the Society by Thomas McMillan. One model was presented to the exhibitor, the other to the museum.

Synonyms: Five Crown Pippin, Royal Somerset. This apple is a cooking variety and is harvested in winter.
