Working Model of King & Howland's Patent Spiral Lift Stamp Battery which was granted Victorian patent (No 26:8:1858) in 1858. It features 12 iron stamps which rotate on lifting and falling by action of the spiral lift on the tappets. The model was made by O. Bobardt between 1858 and 1871.
