Summary
Transmitting triode consisting of four separate 75 watt triode structures connected in parallel to create a 300 watt device. Equivalent to the Eimac type 300TH.
The brand 'Gammatron' referred to a type of gridless triode pioneered by Heintz & Kaufman, mainly to avoid infringement of the triode patent and retained as a trademark long after they ceased making them.
Physical Description
Cylindrical glass bulb with a large 4 pin ceramic base, a metal ring around the bottom of the bulb carrying two grid connections and an anode pin at the top.
