Summary
Brass shoulder badge with letters 'V.R' for Victorian Rangers. The badge was made in 1889-1900 and was worn by a member of the Victorian Colonial Forces. It was donated to the museum in 1959.
According to the Australian War Memorial, the Victorian Rifle Volunteers were renamed the Victorian Rangers in 1889.
