Mantel clock in ormolu case, Louis XV style, made by Raingo Freres, Paris, circa 1850. 15 day movement. Strikes on bell.
Clock reported by donor to have come from Britain to Melbourne, Victoria in 1854.
Physical Description
Round dial with blue roman numerals on white mounts. Originally on wooden base under glass dome. Spring wound; anchor escapement.
