Made by Colt's Patent Fire Arms Manufacturing Co., Hartford, Connecticut, serial number 7201, 1852.

Physical Description

Thin loading lever catch. Six chambered cylinder engraved with naval battle scene, cylinder has possibly been lightly polished at some point and is now a bright silver compared to the frame and barrel's dull patina, small rounded Hartford style brass trigger guard with remnants of silver plating, steel frame, brass Hartford style back strap with small groove and remnants of silver plating, 'Slim Jim' style grips, loading lever rammer screw enters from righ hand side but has had its head filed down, pin style front sight. Knurling on hammer is Hartford style. Barrel address is early New York address. Inspector's intial 'G' stamped onto triggerguard below serial number and 'T' stamped onto triangle of triggerguard right hand side. Loading lever rammer screw head has been filed down.
