Summary
Wax model of a Codlin Moth based on a specimen presented to the museum by the Department of Agriculture of Victoria in 1953. The model was made in the museum by Judy Bishop. It depicts the larva of a Codlin Moth Cydia pomonella (Tortricoidea) and has been reproduced at x20 magnification.
Physical Description
Red and white model of a larva or caterpillar. The model has a long, sectioned body, sixteen legs and small black eye stalks. The body of the insect is spotted and covered in hair.
