Summary
Wax model of a Jonathan appel based on a specimen presented to the museum by the Department of Agriculture of Victoria. The model was made in the museum by Joy Dickins on 11 October 1949.
The model depicts a disease known as Jonathan Spot which is caused by under- or over- maturity at picking, or too long in storage.

Wax model of a small apple with a short stem, painted red. The apple has a yellow section and is covered in beige and brown spots.
