Mantel clock in rectangular wooden veneer case, manufactured by Chauncey Jerome, New Haven, Connecticut, between 1842 and 1853. The company became known as the New Haven Clock Co in 1853.

Rectangular wooden veneer case with square dial and roman numerals. Lower panel of glass door shows transfer painting of a sailor's home in Liverpool. Weight driven; anchor escapement. Winding key and pendulum bob in case.
