Mystery clock, probably manufactured by Junghans, circa 1910.
Clock held by a female figure, whose right hand holds the horizontal support on which the clock oscillates. Original scuplture by Franz Iffland.
Physical Description
Spring wound. Pendulum bob acts as counterpoise for mass of clock and is adjustable. Small pendulum inside clock moves centre of gravity left and right and causes clock to oscillate. Speed is adjusted by lengthening pendulum.
