Summary
1:16 scale model commissioned by the Museum and built by Mr R.D Ramsay in 1952. It represents an Australian-built DH-82A flown by the RAAF and is finished in a post-1945 silver scheme with yellow bands on the wings and fuselage.
The serial number A17-565 used on the model is that of the 1000 th Tiger Moth produced in Australia. The aircraft entered RAAF service in 1942.
