Wax model of a Queensland Fruit Fly (Dacus tryoni (trypetidae)) it accompaines a wax model of a pear showing marks caused by stings of the Queensland fruit fly. This wax model was based on a specimen presented to the museum by the Department of Agriculture Victoria in 1960. It was made in the museum by model maker Ruth Adams in August 1960.
