Summary

This wax model was based on a specimen grown and presented to the museum by H. Tonkins and Sons, 'Viewhill', Kilsyth via Croydon, 23 March 1916. The model was made in the museum by Miss M. J. McMillan, 1916.

Synonyms: Winter Banana, Flory. This apple is a dessert variety and is harvested in winter. This variety originated about 1876 on the farm of David Flory near Adamsboro, Cass County, Indiana. It was distributed by Greening Bros. Michigan, 1890.
