Summary
Photograph taken during an expedition to Antarctica and sub-antarctic islands, circa 1932. Probably taken by George Rayner using a timer shutter release.
Description of Content
Two people standing on a rocky outcrop in front of a body of water that appears to be either a river, coastal inlet or channel between two islands. Most of the landscape is snow covered but the outcrop on which the figures are standing has a tuft of grass growing on top. The person on the right is George Rayner who created this series of photographs taken in Antarctica and sub-antarctic islands during the early 1930s.
