Summary
Directronics Modem Decoder for the translation of telephone videotex information into graphical/textual information on a television receiver. Consists of plastic box, with "QWERTY" keyboard, and cables for attaching to a standard telephone jack, plus a COAX cable to connect to a TV. Mains operated. Designed and manufactured by Directronics Australia Limited, in Western Australia about 1988.
Physical Description
Beige plastic case holds standard QWERTY keyboard with brown keys. Brown power cable and phone cable emerge from rear panel. An Australian standard 600 series telephone socket is on the rear panel. Unit comes in original box packaging with intructions, warranty registration card, and historical information leaflet printed in 1995
