Summary

Printed menu, detailing food and activities to be enjoyed at the 'Second Annual 13th Field Ambulance Sergeant's Dinner', held 'In the Field' in March 1918. The front cover drawing is signed by Edward Smith and dated 1918.

The menu was one of many souvenirs brought back to Australia after World War I by soldier Sergeant John Lord. Sergeant John Lord belonged to the 13th Field Ambulance and returned to Australia shortly after the war's end in 1919. This menu was either souvenired from the actual dinner which is most likely, or was distributed beforehand.
