Summary

Twin triode designed for use as a cascode RF amplifier in VHF television tuners. Alternative designation is ECC84. 6.3V indirectly heated cathode.
This valve was released in about 1955 and was used in many of the first TV receivers made in Australia in 1956. The date code on this valve can be interpreted as 1955 or 1965; the latter one is the most likely one even though by 1965 this was a replacement type.
