Summary
Rex Rotary Model 2200 Scanner/ Stencil Maker, used for scanning drawings and graphics and making wax stencils for duplicator machines.
Consists of a mains powered office unit, in which an original drawing is strapped to a cylinder, "read" by a stylus and an upper stylus reproduces the original on a stencil.
Used at Castelemaine Technical School in the 1960s.
Scanning /reproducing mechanism motor driven.
Home-made stylus operating time disc is built into lid of wooden box containing the scanner/stencil maker.
